Have you ever had hemorrhoid surgery? Is so, how did it work out for you?

   Hey there,

   I haven’t personally had hemorrhoid surgery but I do know a few people that have had hemorrhoidectomy’s.

   Hemorrhoidectomy’s are probably the most painful of all the types of hemorrhoid surgerys, the pain relief drugs are great but you can’t avoid pain after surgery and in some cases you can expect to be fairly inactive and housebound for 3 weeks or more.

   Hemorrhoidectomy’s generally cost around US$1000 – US$1200.

   But you will probably only need a hemorrhoidectomy if your hemorrhoids are severe and causing you a lot of pain. Otherwise there are non-surgical techniques such as rubber band ligation which will be less painful than a hemorrhoidectomy.

   I suffered from hemorrhoids for about 18 months and came close to having surgery but each time backed out. I eventually cured my hemorrhoids using natural cures which I would highly recommend. They are much cheaper and focus on treating the underlying cause of hemorrhoids as opposed to the symptom which is what most surgery’s focus on.

   actually it is dangerous, and there is a risk of dying. Also, it is expensive, and there is a long recovery time for a surgery that seems simple. I would not recommend it.

   Sorry I’m not more help on the actual surgery. I know of someone who had it and said it was somewhat painful but that they recovered fairly quickly.
