At first I thought maybe I had an infection than I thought I might possibly have gotten hemorrhoids but when I saw my Dr. when the symptoms persisted she couldn’t see any hemorrhoids. She suggested I may have irritated a birthing scar but I didn’t have any tearing on my anus (just the part between the two =/ ) Or that it could be an STD, which I’m certain is not a possibility. So I used the cortisone cream, Desitin and the witch hazel (which is supposed to help with the itching but it burns like a mother fu@%&*… would have been nice to know =/ ) I was feeling much better the last two days until I used normal toilet paper again (normally use wet wipes) and now I’m itchy stingy again! WTF am I doing wrong and why wont this go the hell away?!
It is also itchy stingy at my birthing scar which is much more prominent (swollen or something) than it used to be. I could hardly tell it was there before.
The birthing scar tissue from my vagina to nearly my anus has the problems as well as a point on my anus. The doctor told me she saw no hemorrhoids and thought it could be a yeast infection but I had recently taken a pill for that so I know its not yeast (I thought it was a yeast infection at first but the symptoms persisted). I’m VERY certain its not an STD so herpes is out. The only "trama" was from diarrhea which is why I am leaning toward hemorrhoids. The symptoms started after that, I think I was on the toilet too long… And no, I haven’t been eating anything excessively. I can feel that my birthing scar tissue is raised a bit and irritated. It stings a bit when touched. But for some reason my doctor couldn’t see anything. Should I consult someone else? I’m kind of feeling like she did a piss poor job examining me =/

This morning I had a significant amount of blood in my stool. I’d say the equal amount of one cup. After thorough inspection, I can rule out hemorrhoids. I do believe I’m too young for colon cancer and have none of the symptoms. Any suggestions as to what might be causing this illness?

I am having some bleeding from my bottom when I go to the toilet. I gave birth to my daughter 14 months ago and did get hemorrhoids but used cream and the symptoms seemed to ease. I do not suffer from constipation but still get bleeding most times when I go. The blood is dark red and sometimes has small clots. I seem to have a skin tag or something which I dont think is a hemorrhoid as it has been there for a long time before I had my daughter and never caused me any problems. I went to my doctor when the bleeding first started quite bad and she said I had a fissure. This was a few months ago and so would have thought it would have cleared up by now. Has anyone else had this? Did it clear up? Did you need any treatment?

I think either i have hemorrhoids or a urinary track infection, my symptoms are really uncomfortable right side back pain that shoots down to my butt on my right side its just a really annoying somewhat painful pain? I keep feeling like i have to pee and its kinda like uncontrollable do you think i should be seen?

I’ve been diagnosed with having an anal fissure and have been given cream to treat it. However; I have now discovered that anal cancer shares the same symptoms of haemorrhoid’s and anal fistulas etc and I’m worrying that I’ve been misdiagnosed. I’ve seen three doctors and they’ve all told me that I have a fissure that’s been caused through passing large stools and being constipated. Anal fissures tend to run the family and my dad had an operation to cure his.

I don’t have anal sex and I don’t smoke. I don’t have any lumps in that area either so I’m kind of thinking that it’s nothing more than a fissure but I am getting freaked out.

Does anyone else out there with haemorrhoid’s and fissures worry about getting anal cancer or is it just me going mad?

So, I’ve been having pregnancy symptoms, but I am most likely not pregnant and have not missed any periods. I have been having a swollen belly, back aches, headaches, nausea, breast enlargement, sensitivity, hemorrhoids, a weird taste in my mouth, etc. I’ve had pregnancy panic before, but just within the last two weeks I’ve gone from a cup size C to a cup size D, so I know I can’t be making this stuff up. My boyfriend and I use contraceptives religiously and we were not very active the month before these symptoms occurred. I did a pregnancy test-negative. All of these symptoms started showing up about three weeks ago and I’ve had one period about two weeks ago. What’s wrong with me? Has this happened to anyone else? I would really like some help!

I found a large "lump" that’s been causing extreme discomfort when walking. It looks like a raised area similar to cystic acne and it is near the anus. I looked up symptoms and they match the descriptions and symptoms, and I need some good tricks to help relieve it. It’s external and the pain is relieved when I sit, but movement irritates it. Is it a hemorrhoid?

I had a babygirl 3 months ago and she is the most precious gift ever, but everybody who’s had a baby knows that sometimes embarrassing things happen to your body, and so I was wondering how can you tell if you have a hemorrhoid?

i have never had the issue before- and dont see why i would have one now. it seems more like a pimple than a hemorrhoid, but i have a lump close to my anus. i never had one there before and it doesnt match many symptoms of hemorrhoids i read of. it doesnt bleed or hurt when i sit, i can touch it and it only hurts if i squeeze it(i haven’t tried popping it). it just came up out of no where(like a pimple) and i just relized it was there when i had to scratch and felt a slight pain. thanks for any suggestions- i am keeping it extra clean now.

I’m trying to concieve and am looking for early pregnancy signs. Besides fatigue and abdominal sensations, this is the only other symptom I’ve noticed. If implantation was successful, today would be the start of week 3. Any insight?

He has had blood in his stool for a couple of months and thought it was a hemorrhoid and ignored it. Then last month he started having a lot of trouble with constipation and feeling a lot of pressure when he had a bowel movement. He has never had these symptoms before and he is worried, and I’m beyond worried. His colonoscopy isn’t scheduled until 3/24. What are some possibilities other than the worst case scenerio (I can’t bring myself to say the word)?

I’m 21 years old. So I’ve had hemorrhoids for months now. I can’t seem to get rid of them. I eat 1-2 fruits per day, lettuce, some yogurts and drink only water… I use hemorrhoid pads for relieving the symptoms. I always knew I had hemorrhoids but didn’t go to the doctors because I thought it would disappear in less than a month. Since it’s still on going, I went to the doctors 3 days ago and he’s confirmed it by checking my anus. He told me "exercise, eat fruits and vegetables" and thats it. As much as I hate the idea of going into surgery, I feel like I need it.

The symptoms of hemorrhoids I have are pain during bowel movement and then itchy/burning feeling after bowel movement. Sometimes it really intensifies after when I walk to school or doing some form of walking. The itchy/burning feel cools down when I’m sitting though. I bleed "sometimes" when the stool is super dry.

What are you guys thoughts about this? Is this a serious condition?

Those of you who’s gotten hemorrhoid surgery before, how did it go and how fast was recovery?

Is this normal for when you first start using a suppository to treat hemorrhoids? I was having symptoms of hemorrhoids for the past few months and finally bought preparahation H supoositories. I’ve used about three of them so far, and they just seem to be causing more pain and more bleeding. Should I stop using them, or is that how they are when you use them the first few times?

For the last 3 years I’ve been suffering from regular bleeding episodes when going to the toilet. This may typically occur once every couple of months and last for about a week with bright red blood filling the bowel! As I am currently in remission from an unrelated rare form of cancer, every symptom I experience is always a bit of a concern. I’ve had a colonoscopy some 12-months ago and all was clear, been to the GP on a number of occasions and his conclusion was hemorrhoids which I can try using ointment, live with it or consider surgery! Regular checks with my oncologist seem to present with no cancer related issues, but I still get quite alarmed and concerned when I see a blood stained toilet bowel! Any knowledgeable and educated opinions would be appreciated.
Oh, I also didn’t mention that I am not experiencing any physical discomfort other than occasional itchiness!

Will I always have this, it seems like since they got there it is harder to pass stools and there is a little bit of fresh blood after most every discarding. Sorry for such a private topic but I wanted to see if anyone had similar experiences.

Recently, I have been working out a lot and changing my diet to become more muscular. This has been going on for about the last two months. Within the last couple of days I noticed a bump about 1/2 cm inside my anus. I went to the doctor and confirmed it was hemorrhoids. I tried sitz baths which seemed to help, and yesterday the swelling was completely gone. But i realized after my next workout that it slightly came back. There isnt any pain associated with what I have and or no other symptoms like some people which experience. Its not a discomfort, its just slightly annoying. I am not too concerned but wanted to know if anyone had any suggestions/ past experiences with this problem. Should I try and cut back on my working out? Or is there some other methods I can use to reduce the swelling and not have it happen again?

Hi, I don’t really know what this is. It’s a bit embarrassing but I think I might have hemorrhoids. I’m not quite sure believe it or not. I have had this for many years. Didn’t really think much of it. I don’t have any pain with it nor do I have bleeding. Every now and then I do get sharp pains in my anus region. I do get constipated at times. So I’m not too sure if it is hemorrhoids as I haven’t got those symptoms but there is something physically present in the anus but I have had that for as long as I can remember. They don’t go away or nothing. They don’t get bigger or smaller. However more is present or gets bigger when having a bowel movement but goes back to only having a little bit out of the anus after. Should I be concerned?

Ok TMI alert but lately I have experienced bleeding in that area and never did with either of my first two pregnancies. There’s a good possibility that I am pregnant now, just waiting on the doc. Could hemorrhoids occur in early pregnancy or is it just later on?

Ok this is really embarrassing but….for the past few weeks I have had hemorrhoids. It scared me at first because while I was going to the bathroom, I felt something protruding out and I thought it was like a tumor or something..but then looked my symptoms up and realized it was hemorrhoids. I have never had hemorrhoids before in my life that I know of. It’s an internal hemorrhoid and sometimes when I’m going to the bathroom I feel it…most of the time I can push it back in but sometimes it takes awhile. I’ve been incredibly sick to my stomach lately and I have no appetite. Also, my stomach growls ALL the time…even when I’m not hungry!!! Please help..what can I do? I just want this to go away . Also, what kinds of creams would be best?

Two days ago I started feeling a little pain while I was sitting down, but I thought it was nothing, so I ignored it. Yesterday the pain accentuated, so I checked and I felt a little lump on the outside of the anus. I`ve heard of hemorrhoids before so my thought went straight to that; I did some research online and I found out that one of the causes of hemorrhoids is actually sitting too much. I`m (just!) 15; I spend 6 hours sitting during school, and 2 or 3 hours at home on a regular day, and that`s a lot! Problem is most of the sites online said that you usually bleed, and that`s a symptom of hemorrhoids. I didn`t bleed at all, and I don’t feel itchy; the only thing that`s disturbing me is the lump. It’s about the size of a bean and it hurts if I touch it. Today, it`s been really hard for me to go to school because it hurt so much when I sat on the chair, and now even walking gives me a little pain feeling. I don`t know if it`s hemorrhoids or something else (like an anal abscess) but I’m really worried about it. Please, if you have any advice, let me know. Thanks.

Sometimes when i go #2, I see a little bit of blood. I sometimes see it in my stool, but not enough that I was worried.Then, when I went last night, a lot more came out than usual. When I looked up my symptoms on the internet, it said I might have hemorrhoids. Don’t only old people get that? Should I go to my doctor or wait a bit? Do I even have hemorrhoids?!?!??

I am having hemorrhoid symptoms on the inside of me and decided to try using preparation H suppositories, but the first one I used I still had a lot of pain when I had a bowel movement. Then the next one I used I didn’t have a bowel movement until the next day, and it was still quite painful and there was quite a bit of blood.

Is the suppository not working, or does it just take more time?

I’m not talking about sitting on the loo too long or whatever, but there must be some kind of deficiency that I’m causing in my kid. What should I be feeding him to make it go away?
