last night my eyes were a little blurry and I kept thinking I saw things. I attributed it to it being 3am and just having finished a book. This morning I woke up, and I felt weird, just wrong. In the bathroom I realized it was that time of the month. I thought that that was probably the weird feeling, although I usually just wake up knowing somehow that I got it, not feeling "wrong". The blood wasn’t old, it was red and fresh. Usually it starts out old for me. I just got a new brand of pads for no particular reason, I opened them, they were scented and I was like "oh great.." since it didn’t mention that and I hated the smell.
I went to work and was fine for a few hours. But all of a sudden I got extremely nauseous, dizzy, my eyesight started going black and my cramps got so bad, I also had to go to the bathroom. I attributed it to low blood pressure, I have very low blood pressure, and I sometimes feel dizzy nauseous and my eyesight goes black and I have to drink caffeine to raise my blood pressure, but I never had sever period cramps, and the runs all at the same time. I was bent over double in pain from the cramps that were nauseating, and I had to leave early and lie in bed for a few hours.
sometimes I get cramps during my period, but usually they ease in and out in little pressurey pain flashes, but these were like a constant stinging pain and acompained by nausea, i wud roll over to try to find a possiton where it wasnt so bad, and they both would temporally cease, and come back,
I don’t never get flue like symptoms during my period, in fact, I’m usually more energetic and eager to tackle things on my to do list just to be annoyed to find out that I just got my period.
during the month though, when I’m not on my period, sometimes I will have a jabbing pain in my vagina. Like an invisible knife is being stabbed in it, and it makes me jump. I have no idea what that is, it will just happen like once randomly some day. I’ve also gotten that feeling in my bum too, which I attributed to too much computer time on my rump, although I never had hemorrhoids.
Maybe today was a combination of low blood pressure plus bad cramps, but I’d like to hear someone else’s opinion on it, and I’ve provided as much relevant info that I could. I also have been wearing medical grade compression vests on my torso, consistently like a week ago, and they effected my bowel movements, or rather made me constipated. If that helps.
Could it have been the new pads? Could something be wrong with me? Or is all of this normal? Ha, you would think I was 45 with this list of ailments. I just notice Everything about my body.

tomorrow i will be 36 weeks exactly.. not to sound graphic with this question but im lil nervous. it seems like anytime i feel i have to pee i poop. and its like runny poop. now yesterday i had to poop and didnt help much with my hemorrhoids (<btw cant wait to have the baby & get rid of them).. on top of every time i have to pee i poop when i go i barely pee at all.. which i kno baby prob just pushing on my bladder. but i read about certain symptoms of labor and one is diarrhea. now im not saying that i have it cuz im not running all day its just when i have to pee i poop is it normal.. fine? its not like a pre labor type thing

I have had infertility problems my entire adult life due to ovarian cysts, irregular periods, being overweight…and I have not felt a cysts in quite awhile and haven’t had a bad one in many years. I am 29 years old and recently went through an emotionally, mentally, and physically exhausting experience of having my period for over a year (with a week off here and there three or four times). My doctor’s never found a cause or reason for anything. They found no evidences of cancer, cysts, nothing. My gyno tried to put me on Mirena to regulate me but it would not fit in my cervix. I cannot take birth control pills due to a family history of blood clots. Anyway, my recent long period ended in a horribly painful week of bright bleeding and needing high doses of ibuprofin to get through the days. It felt like my insides were going to fall out and it was painful to sit. I even went to the ER, which accomplished nothing. They tested for infection and sent me home. I’ve had ultrasounds, vaginal ultrasounds, nothing seems to be causing my issues so it has been assumed it can only be my weight. So anyway, finally that long stint ended on April 15th. I was so happy. I got my period back on May 12th and it lasted for 10 days. Then I had spotting for two days about two and a half weeks ago, and for the last week, I have been extremely fatigued and tired. I thought I felt cysts on both sides and cramping, but the slight pain has not worsened. About a week ago, I got hemorrhoids to the point of them bleeding and used some cream and they’ve gone almost completely away. I have urinated about 7 times today, but I’m wondering if a cyst can cause that because I don’t remember. I’d like to do a home pregnancy test in a couple days, but I’m wondering if it’s too early. Geez, I’m wondering if it’s even possible. I’ve tried to conceive for the past four years with my fiance, but with no success. I’ve checked into pregnancy symptoms, and I have some breast tenderness, but nothing I haven’t felt before. I’m also quite gassy (gross, sorry), and I have noticed everything smells weird, but I know that could just be hormones. It’s so hard to say I actually missed a period, but I sort of did based off of my last one. I’m sorry this is so long-winded. Could I possibly be pregnant or could a cyst cause all of these symptoms?

This is embarrassing, but…. I have tested positive for herpes through a blood test, but I have never had an outbreak. My problem now is that I think I may have hemorrhoids (mostly internal), but I’m worried that maybe it is anal herpes instead? I have never had anal sex, but I have heard that you can still have an anal outbreak regardless.
For a few months now, I have seen a little bit of blood on the toilet paper when I wipe, but it has always been a small amount. There have been a couple of little tears now and then, so I figured that was the cause of the bleeding. I have had itching too.
The past few days, my symptoms have been a little worse. I’m not sure why I initially decided to do this, but I took a mirror to the bathroom and held it so that I could see my anus as I was pushing out. A couple really swollen looking and bright red things come out past my anus, and go back in.

I forgot to mention that I have been taking a diet pill, for about a month. I have been having diarrhea, but it started after I started taking the pills, so I think its related to just that. I say this to point out that I have not been constipated, so I haven’t had to push too hard to go to the bathroom. However, now that I see the swollen looking red things that come out, I feel like I am having to push harder because It feels like I need to push extra to get the stool to go past the red things. I know this is kind of gross, but I took a couple of pictures (clean) in case I can send them to someone to help with a diagnosis. I’ve been reading and it seems like my symptoms can fall under anal herpes, hemorrhoids, and even inflammatory bowel disease. Please help!

So I have this dime size bump there for the longest time. It DOES NOT hurt me at all or anything.. it’s more of a annoyance. I looked symptoms for hemorrhoids but it says bleeding, pain, etc. I do not have that! But I picked up some perpetration H anyways. It’s just a big bump and it won’t go away. It’s embarrassing and annoying. Anything I could do? Maybe even go to my female dr? ANYTHING lol…

A little over two weeks ago, I experienced really weird and very painful pain in my upper abdomen. It felt like a wave of pain was going from one side to the other. I never had that before, so I ended up spending a day at the hospital. They made me do blood tests, since they suspected I might have had a case of appendicitis. I also did a few chest x-rays, I believe in order to check if there was any obstruction in my intestine, because they also suspected constipation. None of them turned out positive for any of those signs. The general surgeon could not understand what it was. Whenever he pressed on at the top in between my lower ribs, I would be in a lot of pain. In the end, he told me that I might just have constipation, and to just improve my diet with lots of fiber and liquids.

I began doing so, but then whenever I go to the washroom now, I have rectal bleeding with pain. I find it on the toilet paper and in the bowl as well. I’ve been doing some readings, and what I’ve found was that I might have a case of hemorrhoids, which would explain the bleeding. I’ve been trying to keep up a high fiber diet, although I must admit I might not be taking the 35g recommendation. I will start taking Metamucil, so hopefully that’ll help a bit.

Looking back at what I had, I’m really worried that I might have a type of colon cancer. Is it possible with the symptoms I had/have? Has anyone else experienced this and found any answers?

I recently discovered a bump on my butt,which itched,so I made a doctor’s appointment and they checked it out. She told me it was hemorrhoids and gave me a prescription for some kind of ointment.

I was relieved but soon after I got worried again and now ever since I think I have some kind of disease.

Before I went to the doctor I looked up symptoms and all these things came up like herpes and all these other diseases.

Well,I don’t have any bumps down there…or anything like that and I’m a virgin. I don’t know whats wrong with me,sometimes i cant even sleep at night.

Am I a hypochondriac? How do I make it stop?

I keep checking down there ive become obsessed with it and making sure that nothing is wrong… even though i try to tell myself ill be okay and theres noting wrong,i still have to make sure.

Starting about two months ago I had an episode where I would go to the restroom with much straining and produced low caliber thin stool which is weird for me because usually my stools are usually quite large, also there was small streaks of bright red blood. This resolved within days and my stools and regularity returned to normal, however, worried that this could signify possible cancer I set an appointment with my doc 3 weeks after the first episode. The doctor examined my anal canal and saw no hemorrhoids but did find a small fissure. This could account for my bleeding he thought but just told me to eat more fiber, which I did. The doctor then dismissed me saying that he was going to follow me up within 2 weeks. Well just a day ago a started having diarhhea accompanied with nausea, fast hart rate, high blood pressure 159/82, dizziness and mild disorientation. I thought I was getting a stomach flu, but usually with these I throw up. Today I still have diarrhea but no real stomach pains, and a slight dizzy feeling. My heart rate is around 90-95 and my pulse is lower, but something just doesn’t feel right. Right after I ate I start feeling dizzy and panicky and get diarrhea. Could these be a stomach flu or a sign of metastatic cancer. I have been worried sick but I am only 20, not gay, don’t smoke, eat alright. I have a follow up on Monday. Do you guys think this is a stomach bug or cancer symptoms?

Over the past 10-15 years my mom has gone from social drinker going out on Fridays to a sheltered and depressed woman who drinks alone daily- With nothing more on her mind than wanting to be dead. In the past 2-3 years Ive seen my mother go from bad to worse and everything in between. She just recently came down w/ a kidney infection that left her in bed for 2 weeks–And she denies it, but I know she was drinking even then. Not a day passes when she hasn’t vomited or almost dropped to her knees in pain. She also suffers from bulimia on top of her alcohol addiction. She’s constantly bleeding and claims it’s just hemorrhoids, but everybody assumes otherwise. She’s 54 years old and looks like a 65-70 year old woman. Although I hate to admit it- I can tell by looking at her that she’s slowly dying… She’s now past the point of being saved. Im just wondering if anybody knows of any really good websites I could go to to find out the signs and symptoms of Cirrhosis of the Liver–OR if anybody can share their experiences on the subject….ANY input is encouraged and greatly appreciated.
Im not looking to put her in rehab…She’s been countless times and insists on leaving before they even get a chance to talk about treatment. I know she needs help, but u cant give help to someone who doesnt want to take it. We’ve all tried and she refuses. Now we’ve run out of options… As I said she’s past the point of being saved. She has her mind set on one thing and that’s being done w/ her life and everything it consists of.

Hi guys, im 14 and im having some problems. i dont usually use the bathroom (number 2) everyday, i go maybe every few days, and i expeirenced a few itchy symptoms, but none as serious as right now. yesterday i went to the bathroom, but i had constipation and i was pushing as hard as i could, then when i finish, my @nal started itching really bad, and when i took a shower and tried to clean it with soap, i felt a circular lump around my @nal. Then today it started itching REALLY bad. the lump size isnt very big, its very small but itchy. what does this mean? how do i fix this problem? how can i prevent this? (i dont drink that much water a day, maybe a few cups?)

I experienced rectal bleeding, constipation, and bloating for about 3 months. I went to see a doctor who performed a sigmoidoscopy which showed nothing problematic except moderate hemorrhoids (probably as a result of straining). My doctor said that there was nothing to worry about and perscribed me laxatives (MiraLax) which I should take every morning. Ever since I started them, I have been feeling great – no more constipation or any other problems. However, I recently read that it’s not good to take laxatives for long periods of time as you become dependent on them. How can I stop taking laxatives but also get rid of my constipation? I have tried stopping them and I felt fine for a couple days, but after 4-5 days all of my symptoms return. I have been taking them almost regularly for about 3 months now.

(YES IT IS GROSS) I have pictures of it! I know it’s an infection, but she has been on antibiotics and the darn thing will come back,go away,ect… I just need to find some answers for her. She doesn’t handle this stuff well at all! I want answers for her! Her Rheumitologist firmly believes that it is NOT Lupus! I have been having a quite a lot of problems with my bowels and stomach but as I was pregnant and then gave birth 5 weeks ago I assumed that they were related.
Anyway they have got progressivly worse so I went to my GP this morning and he has ruled out piles, hemorrhoids etc as when he examined me there were no evidence of them and not all my symptoms can be explained by them. I am booked in for some blood tests next week (he didnt explain what they are for?).
My maternal grandfather died of bowel cancer and now i’ve started thinking that I have some of the symptons myself.
I was wandering if anyone knows how common bowel cancer is in someone of my age – im 22.
And if anyone can give me an idea of what actually might be wrong?

My husband has been having the problems I am about to explain starting at age 15, He is now 23.

It started as a few loose stools, and Gradually turned into constant Diahrea with 2 or more bowl movements daily. Recently (Past 2-3 years) There has been blood in his stool. Sometimes large amounts of blood. There is constant cramping and bloating of his stomach, and often between bm’s the feeling of needing to go, with no production. He has all the symptoms of Colitis, and IBS, however, These problems occur with EVERYthing he eats. And even when he doesn’t. Testing has showed no illness or disease, No chrones. A colonoscopy has revealed no colitis. Also no Polyps or hemorrhoids to cause the bleeding. Any insight on what is plaguing my husband? Because of all this he is constantly fatigued and dehydrated. Just a suggestion to bring up with the doctor would be wonderful.

1st 3 days were pain, gas & bloating. & I couldn’t make any bowel movements. Yesterday, it started hurting worse, & I finally made the bowel movements, but the stools were hard, painful & big, & I was bleeding. Last night here on Y!A, someone told me that I might have an anal fissure. It felt like my rectum AND vagina were going to both split in half. 1 of the bowels was THAT big & hard.

Today, it got worse. Worse stomach pains, feeling sicker after eating, I made hard bowels @ least 3 times, & the 4th time, it was hard, & then finally diarrhea-like. It felt like I started to feel Irritable Bowel Syndrome symptoms again, & I was feeling nauseated. After eating breakfast, my stomach was hurting so badly that I had trouble breathing & felt like I was going to throw up.

As of now, I feel pressure & pulse-like pain in my rectum (it feels like gas pressure), & earlier today, I felt the hemorrhoids, as usual. I had to cancel my doctor’s appointment today. I was afraid to eat lunch, & I’m afraid to eat dinner. My stomach doesn’t hurt as much now, but I also keep burping. I hope I don’t vomit. I’m lying down in the bed on my laptop. I feel SO bad right now. My anus feels weird and painful, & I feel like I can barely get up and do anything.
My stomach was RUMBLING earlier, feeling like an earthquake.

im age 19 and i work in a grocery/restaurant and ive been eating too much fast food recently but for the passed 2 days now ive been using the restroom normally symptoms i have when im about to use the restroom is stomach pains((doesnt hurt alot)) and little diarrhea ((but most of the time normal rutting)) it doesnt hurt at all when i wipe so do i got something serious?? how can i check if i got hemorrhoids???

I’m 15 and have a small pea sized lump just on the outside of my anus. I thought it was just hemorrhoids but it’s been there for about 6 months and hasn’t gone away….

It hasn’t changed size at all but when it first appeared I got sharp pains, to put it plainly, up my bum. After a week or so the discomfort went and I haven’t had any discomfort or any symptoms since.

I haven’t said anything to my parents because it’s embarrassing, and I’m trying to avoid going to the doctors for the same reason since I don’t want him feeling up there…

And plus now this whole swine flu thing is going on and I don’t want to go anywhere near a doctors because I don’t want to catch it…

Im writing on behalf of my wife, im very active in the pregnancy and sometimes I feel a bit helpless and lost so I would love some advice.

We are 38 weeks/2 days, we spent sometime at L and D the other night with contractions 2-3 minutes apart, 1 cm and 50% effaced. They sent us home after a few hours due to the belief that my wife was having false labor. While she was examined we were told the baby was at -3 station. We went to the OB the Next morning and the baby has dropped to 0 station but we were still only 1cm. For the last 24 hours my wife has been spotting (brown mucous) and having light but constant contractions. Hemorrhoids are flaring up and she is in terrible discomfort. This morning she also woke up with similar nausea to morning sickness. Is anyone else sharing these symptoms and does this mean its coming soon. I cant wait to meet my daughter and im extremely anxious.

Hemmorrhoids symptoms and best cure

Alright, so I’ve done a lot of Googling and and Yahoo research on Hemorrhoids, but I keep coming across the same same symptoms: itchy, bleeding, discomfort, ect.

I had anal for the first time with my partner about two days ago. It didn’t hurt so much when going in and after awhile it felt fine. Well when I walked it was a little discomforting because it felt like how you keep touching something thats really sensitive to the touch. And yesterday morning I looked in the mirror, and everything looked fine but there was like I guess a skin like color maybe a little darker then my skin tone coming out from the hole. Or around that area. I’m pretty sure its coming out from the hole, cause I pushed it in and I felt fine again, and yes, it did just go right in.

It doesn’t itch, or hurt when I use the bathroom, it’s a tad bit sensitive to the touch, but thats about it, oh and no bleeding as far as I can tell.

I honestly don’t want to go to the doctor about this, it does sound like a Hemorrhoid, but I don’t know!

I’m halfway through my pregnancy, and dealing with all the aches, pains, symptoms one could think of. Problem is, when you aren’t showing whatsoever, people just assume you’re lazy and treat you badly. I’ve had chairs yanked out from under my feet twice lately by people just assuming I’m kicking back relaxing (no, I’m trying to take the pressure off my hemorrhoids and relieve my sore, puffy feet!). This is just one of the examples, but hopefully you understand what I mean. What can a girl do to get a little sympathy (or at least not be treated so rudely) when her belly doesn’t announce her situation? Announcing to these people that I’m pregnant would be rude or seen as attention fetching, wouldn’t it?

I had about two weeks or diarrhea which ended with hemorrhoids with bleeding now for about two weeks. I have lost about 9lbs without trying. My appetite has decreased but I haven’t had any nausea. I have to take an afternoon nap pretty much every day. I am urinating a little more frequently but not too bad and my breasts are a little tender and have not seem to shrink any although I have lost weight. Also, I am having a lot more gas lately, especially in the last few days. This would be my 2nd if I am. With my first, I didn’t realize I was pregnant until I was 19 weeks and 5 days pregnant bc of lack of signs and symptoms of pregnancy and bc of loss of weight.
