I’m 29 years old and I have a woman medical question. I haven’t had my regular period for about a week or so and I just noticed this morning that I am pooping blood. I have asked my husband about this since he was a CMA and he said that I might have an ulcer. Is this true and what should I do about this? I am very much concern. Now, when I wipe in the front there isn’t any blood cause I know when I have my period. But when I wipe in the back, its a light red blood color. I didn’t strained myself of going to the bathroom. My mom thinks it could be hemorrhoids or cancer. My husband told me that I would be itching in the back if I have hemorrhoids. I am not itching anywhere. I have a stomach ache and that’s all it. My mom also told me that I have a family history on this problem. So, I am very much nervous what it is. If you could give me some ideas and suggestions what I should do about this, it would be greatly appreciated.

I’m 26, female, and I’m really worried. I have some hemorrhoids that itch and a small anal fissure. There’s no blood on my stool or on toilet paper when I wipe. I’m not losing weight, no weird discharge. No lumps, no pain around the anal area. No dryness down there.

I have soft stools. No diarrhea, sometimes I get constipated if I eat junk food, but when I eat a healthy diet full of veggies and fruits I go to the restroom fine.

I don’t smoke, don’t do drugs, I drink alcohol twice a month or so (not much of a drinker). I don’t have promiscuous sex (I’m still a virgin). I’m pretty healthy. I realize you guys are not doctors, in fact I’m going to make an appointment with my doctor on Monday. But I’m just worried. I don’t want to die. :-/

I was thinking of getting a colonoscopy just to make sure everything down there was all right. Should I also maybe see a gastroentrologist? My doctor awhile back said that I didn’t really need a colonoscopy because of my age.

So I wonder if its just hemorrhoids that are annoying or if it might be more. I’m going to push my doctor this time for a colonoscopy. I know he’ll do it but in the past he just thought it was unnecessary, he has years of experience with this kind of stuff.

I’m just worried. I don’t want to die. I have so many things I want to do in life. I really don’t want to die so young. :-/
there’s no history of colon/anal cancer in my family.

This morning I noticed some blood on some toilet paper. I looked at my ass in a mirror and noticed a small purple bump just around the "opening". It doesn’t hurt or itch, but it does feel kind of firm. If not for the blood, I wouldn’t have noticed it. It’s small and roundish.

I heard that hemorrhoids hurt and I’m pretty sure that it isn’t an STD. Anyone have a suggestion?

2 days ago I started having EXTREME itching, turns out it’s hemorrhoids (lucky me!). I just realized that thats what it is last night & started having vaginal itching as well. so my question is.. can hemorrhoids cause vaginal itching as well or is it possible I could also have a yeast infection at the same time?

i have had a few growths around my anus.. bigger that pimples one of the is a quarter of an inch long.. kind of small about the length of your fingernail.. i have never had anal sex so im ruling out any kind of std… what can this be and will it go away by itself? they sometimes itch and are painful… plz help!

Ok I do have hemorrhoid’s but I have not have any-problem in a long time and last night I was experiencing a lot of anal itch and was kept awake by this. I did check my stool for worms and saw nothing, but I also don`t have a flair up associated with hemorrhoids, except for itching. My husband don`t have any symptoms so I`m really not sure if it is pin worm or not. can not get to the doctor as of yet and needed some advice as what I should do now. any answers is great. Thanks!!

I am using it to treat some hemorrhoid problem and it causes more itching rather than ease the pain. Any ideas?

This is my story, about a month ago i got first hemorrhoid, it was a pain month but i got through it and my hemorrhoids are getting better, no more blood after every shit (sorry for my words), no more paint full annoying itching inside, BUT my class is going tomorrow on picnic, and they are going with their bikes, should i or shouldn’t i go with bike because of my hemorrhoids? Can they come back after bike ride?

Right below my anus, I have a big red bump. I thought it was a zit so I tried to squeeze it and when I felt around, I realized its deep. I mean to say that I felt behind it and its not topical. It feels like its deep in my skin. It itches every now and then but thats about it. I bm frequently, so I know its not from constipation. I havent had any bloody stools. So what could this be?

i have had bad itching around my anus for about 1 1/2 weeks now. there are no bumps or anything that look like it could be a haemorrhoid, but there are red, swollen, itchy areas that look a lot like hives. is it possible that it could be hives? and what could I do about it?

after i had a bowel movement i noticed 2 bluish- purple bumps on my anus, and if i’m not careful when i wipe they can bleed. No, I don’t have worms in my stool. I’m 15, I guess it’s hemorrhoids. I’ve had itching for the past 4 days or so, yesterday was symptomless though. The symptoms are back again (and bad!) since I just had a bowel movement. The only symptom I have is bad itching in the rectal/anal area, no bl3eding. Is this hemorrhoids (internal or external?) or something else? I’m putting petroleum jelly on my @nus to try to soothe the itching; it’s not really working. Ugh, what can I do?! Will the problem go away?

This is probably TMI but I thought I would ask. For about 16 months now I have had moderate to severe constant itching on my rectal area. There has been bulge that has formed there too. Sometimes it bleeds. I have had 3 doctors tell me its not a hemorrhoid and I had a colonoscopy that came out clear. What could this be? It is driving me crazy.

I noticed hemorrhoids forming about 4 weeks ago. They aren’t painful, they don’t bleed. Just very itchy.
So I’ve been using Preparation H for the whole 4 weeks. It’s been treating the symptoms. (no pain, no itching) but the hemorrhoids aren’t going away. I was reading the Prep H directions and it says "if hemorrhoids persist contact physician". I was at the doctor on Wed and didn’t mention them because, well it’s normal during pregnancy. Should I call her on Monday and ask or, because I know the cause is my pregnancy and it’s normal, should I just keep going and talk to her in a week and 1/2 when I have my next appointment?

anyone have a baby with tearing or episiotomy? i had a baby 17 days ago. and i didn’t have an episiotomy, but my wall had torn with a laceration 4 inches long 3 inches deep and 300 stitches because they had to do 6 layers. and now i can’t stop itching!!!! it keeps me up all night . pleaseeeeeeee anyone. how the hell do you stop the itching. the tucks don’t work as well as i want it to. and the doctor gave me hemorrhoid cream even though i didn’t have any but she gave it to me because it apparently has a numbing agent in it. but that doesn’t really work it burns more than anything

I am very much worried because I had an internal hemorrhoids, I haven’t consulted to the doctor yet. It is itching at night when I sleep, and I can’t really sleep. However, it isn’t painful.

I developed one small "Hemi" as I like to call it when I gave birth to my child 6 years ago. I didn’t notice it the for almost 2 years but for about 4 years I have had it non stop. It doesn’t bleed, burn, it doesn’t hurt to sit or anything. I actually hardly ever notice it until I think about it. It does itch sometimes which is annoying. Does anyone have an real solutions for getting rid of the hemi other than, changing your diet, eating fiber, stop sitting for a long time, sitz bath etc? I know all these suggestions but I’m looking for something maybe everyone doesn’t know about. I’ve tried prep H and suppositories and witch hazel and pushing it back up and nothing works. It’s an embarrassment. I hate when i’m about to have sexual relations and I feel embarrassed for the guy to even see me down there. I’ve had a guy ask what it was and I had to tell him and I was so embarrassed. Please help. Thanks.

I have some pain when I have a BM and something it bleeds a little. There is no blood in my stool though. And it hurts worse the bigger the BM.
And then my anus will be sore for a few minutes after I have a BM but then I am fine.
And sometimes I itch for no reason (other than times when I need to go).
This is so embarassing. I hope I at least get some serious answers.
