I’m a little embarrassed to ask this, but I’m too shy to go to the doctor about it, and I’d at least like to know if anyone can tell me what I need to know. I’m seven months pregnant, and a few days ago I thought that I was simply getting hemorrhoids. I’ve never had them before so I didn’t know for sure. I had little bumps that itched and I bled a little when I was using the bathroom. But the bumps and itching is spreading up farther between my legs and it feels like I have some swelling now too. There are only maybe 4 or 5 bumps total, and the itching is mild enough that I can ignore it and not scratch. Does anyone know what this could be? I recently searched online and came up with two possible answers (std or worms) but I don’t know if either are the problem. I found out recently that my boyfriend had cheated on me, and I’m wondering if maybe he got something from her and passed it to me. And I’ve considered that it might be worms, which is so disgusting I can’t stand to think about it. About a week ago I adopted a stray kitten that I found outside my sisters apartment. The kitten has been sick and was pretty skinny when I got her. She lays around a lot and is constantly eating. I think that she did have or still does have worms or maybe something else and that its possible I caught it from her. If anyone has any helpful information to share I’d appreciate it. It really worries me because I’m pregnant and I don’t want anything to hurt my baby or make her sick.

ooooook. this question is really akward for me but I guess it’s not that serious. lol so basically idk if anyone has ever uhh pooped and had it feel kinda like the anus is ripping a little bit? that’s only happened to me when its "larger" than normal. lol but lately it’s been normal size and it still feels like it’s ripping and it hurts really bad. I searched hemorrhoids but I doubt that’s it because there’s no itching or pain afterwards or when I sit or anything. it’s only that one period of time. does anyone know what this could be? thanks in advance for the help!

I’ve been battling Bacterial Vaginosis since June of 2006. I was so scared that I had an STD that I didn’t get it checked until December 2006 (I was STD free).

Anyways in July 2007 I started noticing that I couldn’t go #2 without having intense burning and itching afterwards. This has caused me to always have to take extremely hot showers after I go #2 or else I can’t even walk.

It’s the not my anus that burns (which would be hemorrhoids) it’s the skin between my cheeks. I’m really embarrassed by this, but the BV has flared up again and I was treated with MetroGel in March 2009, but the burning and itching is still there.

Should I talk to my gyno about this? Can she prescribed something that will help? What should I say is happening? I’m totally embarrassed by this, but I’m finally getting brave and seeking help. What could be wrong? I’m 21 years old.

I’m in my mid-twenties and I have my first hemorrhoid. I went to the store and got the hemorrhoid cream. It’s really itchy. The cream is suposed to help with itching, but it hasn’t yet. What can I do to stop it from itching? How long will I have the hemorrhoid?

I’m embarrassed to go to my doctor about it .. and i know creams just get rid of the itch and burn. Will it eventually just go away?

Hey guys. Recently, every time i finish pooping, my anus will feel like its just sticking out alot as soon as i start to wipe my ass. After a few seconds the swelling immediately disappears and it seems normal again. Im thinking this might be some kind of "flash" hemmorhoids. Im not sure if i already have hemorrhoids because ive experienced the itching side of hemorrhoids but not the swelling/pain/bleeding. Even if i try to put as little strain while pooping, it will still appear. Im a 70kg 16 year old guy 180cm tall. My ass is considerably larger than most peoples i believe (since i sit alot) but the rest of my body seems normal to anyone.

last night there was a lot of dark blood in my stool and it freak me out. I could not push my poo out and it was hard to. I have a urge to go #2 and could not but when I did, I had to make it come out. there was blood and a lot of it..I think it might be Hemorrhoids but my tummy hurts and I have had Hemorrhoids before but there was not blood coming from me, and I was bleeding for like 15 minutes. I have been taking Hemorrhoids medical for a month cuz there is Itching.

I have a serious problem.

I am a 24 year old asian student currently studying in US. I have student health insurance.

A little over a week ago, i have noticed a small lump above my anus. For the first two days It was slightly painfull, but not horrible. I was able to carrry on my work, after taking a pain reliever tablet

However its almost been 10 days now, I still have that lump. There is no pain, but it makes me feel uneasy. It doesnt even itch a lot, only once or twice a day I would say.

There is no bleeding while passign stool, I dont even have any pain.

I am very embarassed about this problem, and quite distrubed lately becoz of this.

I dont know how to face doctors, and furthermore am Afraid how much will be the cost of an examination.

Please help

After a 3 week struggle with constipation, I was left with rectal burning, pain with defecation, itching, and a weird feeling in my rectum that kind of made me feel like I had to go to the bathroom when I didn’t. I figured it was hemorrhoids from straining, so I used some rectal preparation h cream and prep h suppositories.

Today I went in to the doctor because my "hemorrhoids" weren’t getting better. She looked inside my rectum with some little camera thing (boy did it hurt), and found no hemorrhoids. Instead, she found an anal fissure at the "4′O clock area" that "oozed a bit" when she touched it. Lovely.

I’m wondering what I should do! It’s very uncomfortable. The prep h stuff was actually helping, so I was sure it was hemorrhoids. The problem was that even though it helped, the discomfort kept coming back at the end of the day. The doctor didn’t say what I should do, and some websites tell me fissures heal with time, while others say SURGERY is the only answer!
Now that I think about it, that uncomfortable feeling I was having that felt a bit like an urge to go to the bathroom/having something stuck in the rectum does feel like a tear or cut. I’m very concerned, though. I’m going to continue taking warm baths…but other than that…Should I kept using the prep h cream or suppositories? How do I get rid of this fissure?! I’m 99.9% sure I got it when I was constipated, and thus I’m guessing I’ve had the fissure for two or two and a half weeks.
I have also felt a "spasm" in the rectal area a few times for maybe a week or less. It’s not painful – it’s just like a muscle spasm. Is this because of the fissure?

I have an external hemorrhoid. It is like the size of small grape. I’ve heard that these don’t go away, but is it possible that this will swell down? It doesn’t burn or itch, it’s just rather uncomfortable and irritating. I constantly feel it and it’s annoying. Will the feel of it go away? I want to know more info on this.

ok well my boyfriend and I had anal sex yesterday and I;ve been having a lot of trouble going to the bathroom, we didn’t use a condom but we did use lube. I’ve never really done anal before and it was very painful, today I;ve been having some throbbing in my anus, it’s been bothering me and i touched it with my finger, i felt a lot of like lumps. Ok I have had 2 children. With my first child i got hemorrhoids while i was pregnant but it was mild. after my first labor though it was very bad BUT after a few months it went away. Now I have had a second child but with this child I had bad hemorrhoids while i was pregnant and they even started before i was out of my first trimister!! Now it has been 11 months since i have had my 2nd child. And this time the hemorrhoids have not gone away!! I tried creams ect before but nothing helped. is it normal to have them this long after having a baby?? Ive been on here reading about hemorrhoids and they only systom i dont have is the itching. i do have bloody stoles and just a very sore pain in general and external lumps. Does this mean i also have them internaly? Should i go see a doctor because mine now need surgery? its been 11 months and they have not gone away not even for one day in this time! i feel them everyday! anyone know what i can do if i need surgery?

I’ve been having bleeding and pain for about 6 months now. First the doctor said it was a large hemorrhoid, then they said it was a bunch of hemorrhoids, then they said I had a polyp, did a colonoscopy and removed that. Went back recently because the pain has gotten so bad I can barely make a BM anymore. I usually end up giving up because the pain is so excruciating, and when I clean up afterwards, there is only blood on the paper. It feels almost like a tearing. I also have itching often and at times have to wipe myself, and not even after going to the bathroom.

After my last appointment, my doctor gave me AnaMantle, and said that would help numb it. I don’t want it numbed, I want it healed. He says he can’t tell what is causing the bleeding. How can this be? Is there anything that can help cure whatever this is?

I could go on and on but this is the most painful thing I’ve ever gone through. I don’t have health insurance right now. I’ve heard the surgery is painful, but I’m already in terrible pain. Is it costly? And does it work? I can’t keep shoving suppositories up my tooshie every time I need to go to the bathroom.

My QUESTION will this go away without surgery? Can I ever get back to my normal self?

It itches and i feel "wet" down there. Ive also noticed some small pimple-like things all around my anus. its not grosss but it doesnt look right. What do I have? If it is an STD is it curable? if it is a hemorrhoid, how can i make it less visible or how can i treat or get rid of it at HOME?
