I am 13 years old and I think I have a hemorrhoid. 2 weeks ago my butt hole has been itching a lot, so I tryed washing it with fragrance free soap, and it was still itching! after a week it stopped itching, but when I pooped, my butt hole would hurt a lot! so I decided to check it, and I have a hemorrhoid sticking out, I don’t know what to do! I don’t want to get it surgically removed! is there any other way too stop the pain, besides surgery? Is there something wrong with me? is it unnormal for a 13 year old to have a hemorrhoid?!

I know JC wanted a flaming sword or whatever, but I think he’d still find hemorrhoids, scurvy, foul ulcers, boils, tumors, the itch, madness, blindness, confusion, consumption, fever, rash, drought, blight, mildew, getting attacked by wild animals and eating the flesh of your own children a little uneccessary.

I have this lump protruding from my anus. I thought it was an external hemorrhoid, but it doesn’t itch or bleed. It’s been there for quite a few months, but I didn’t think anything of it since it wasn’t bothering me. I noticed it more when I was masturbating and when I was aroused enough, it started either coming out more or getting more swollen, and then it would go back in or get small again, I’m not to sure. What is this and what do I do about it? I’m a female by the way in college.

So I went to the bathroom and there was bleeding when I wiped but not in my pee or poop so I know its not my period. I looked it up and it suggested, hemorrhoids or and Anal fissure. And i found out hemorrhoids run in the family from my dad and it heredity. I also have to wear a pad because it just comes out and i don’t know if its like shit or blood. It kinda itches as well?

Also, I’m only fourteen. I mean don’t you have to be adult to have hemorrhoids. So is this possible?

I had some vulval itching so I went to the doctor. She did a pap smear, which came back normal, and didn’t seem to think anything looked wrong. The itching was more general but I began to feel a tender pain on my right labia majora near the vaginal opening. I thought maybe I had a yeast infection so I used a home test. It said my vaginal Ph was normal so I used Monistat. It seemed to make me more itchy, but I thought perhaps that was just a side-effect. The pain subsided after one day. It had occurred after manual sex. Soon after, my anus seemed itchy. I don’t know if this was related or not. I tried to keep it clean and dry and eat foods with lots of fiber and the anal itching has almost completely gone away. The itchiness/tenderness specific to my right labia majora came back though. It became irritated after more manual sex. The manual sex is not extraordinarily rough or anything though… I checked out the area multiple times and there were never blisters, sores, etc. It was always red but I didn’t know if this was because I had to pull the labia back to see it with a hand mirror or what. I noticed the veins in that area look darker, but nothing else is really going on down there.

I am wondering a few things: does it sound like I have an STD? Can you get hemorrhoids on your labia? If neither of these things apply, what’s going on? I am planning to visit the doctor if need be, but I am confused and would like some comfort/advice. Knowledgeable and/or experienced responders welcome. Thanks!!!

Yesterday I noticed several bump type areas on my labia. Some feel pretty close to the opening of my vagina. There are about 7 or 8, but it’s hard to tell because they are really close together! They are also not little small bumps, but not BIG either! I have tried mashing one, but nothing comes out. I really can’t explain what they feel like. However, These bumps are sore. My whole vagina is sore for that matter. I am raw and torn in several parts from scratching. I have had yeast infections in the past, but I haven’t noticed much discharge and have never had symptoms this bad before, and never any bumps. Keep in mind though I did take 3 antibiotics last month for a sinus infection before I finally got over it. This burning pain is so bad, however, that I cannot sleep and basically cannot function. I don’t have insurance, however, I am going to try and make an appointment at the dr. tomorrow! I cannot live with this! I have almost wondered do I have herpes…but that would be almost impossible. My husband and I have been together for 5 1/2 years and we are each others only partner. On top of that he has no bumps or itching and burning! I bought some monistat 3 cream last night, but I am feeling no relief. On top of all of this my hemorrhoids have been bothering me as well for the past week, so it’s not only my vagina, but my bottom too! Does anyone know what this itchy, burning, bumpy stuff could be? ok here goes nothing. so for about 2.5 weeks, i’ve been experiencing nausea, a few times VERY severe to the point i have to breathe out of my mouth to keep from vomiting (mostly in the AM but has been occurring just as often after napping in the afternoon) the napping thing is odd all in itself, because i am not one to nap unless i am really tired or am really sick. ive been getting heartburn a few hours after i eat my lunch, which is an early lunch because of the hours i work. low back pain upon waking up and sporadically throughout my day. i work in a nursing home, so its considerably warmer in there than most places would keep their environment, therefore i’m under the impression that that may be whats making me dizzy/lightheaded at times? my nose has been stuffy throat a little scratchy but not sore lately, ive noticed that within the last 4-5 days. frequent urination. discomfort during sex,a little bleeding, and some vaginal itching but no discharge afterwords- lasting just a day or 2 after said intercourse encounter. i also have some unique (lack of better terms to describe) feeling abdominal pressure/bloating/something or other. it reminds me of what it felt like when i was pregnant, leading up to losing the baby at 7.5weeks this march. i am having regular bowel movements, just as many daily as before these ailments came about. consistency on the other hand is a different story LOL they range from soft stool to harder. which leads me to my next issue… i think i had a little bout of hemorrhoids for a few days and no i don’t have anal sex. my appitite varies, mostly not as hungry as i am on an average day of my life. i little moody/emotional, i almost cried watching the newest fast and furious movie last night- which is definitely not a tear jerker. as for my periods, a few weeks after the miscarriage in march i begged my doctor to put me on birth control because i did not want to wait to see when my body would have a "normal" period. i wanted my body to cycle itself out so i could start to feel normal again, which he gladly put me on. so i’ve been on the pill since the middle of april, taking the pill religiously because i am not ready to go through that again. my periods have been amazing! 28 days, right on the dot, moderate (without bc my cramps r debilitating!) cramping… no heavy bleeding… totally loving it THEN last month it was 4 days late (no big deal, just figured i was a little more stressed than usual) all it was was spotting for about 5 days, no cramps…usually just enough to fill a partial regular tampon then it’d stop for hours. took a test it was negitive. so i just figured maybe my body was reregulating itself, still had been off since the miscarriage? who knows right? so i’m within a week to being due for my next period, if it doesnt come within a week of knowning… i’ll be taking test AGAIN. we just bought a house, i’m not ready emotionally to deal with this again. it was miscarriage number 3, we arent suppose to try again until i can see a specialist to determine whats going on. i’m not the heaviest bible believer, but i do believe that God, fate, and/or the stars wont give me anything i’m not prepared to handle. and i dont think i am prepared for this again! so, if its NOT pregnancy… what in the h*ll else could it be???
i had 1 pap right after i miscarried, then another about a week later. so essentually i havent had 1 for about 4 months. i also had some really terrible pain in my lower left abdomen area in late may. i had to have 2nd ultrasound done, they found hemorraging cysts in my ovary, and some scar tissue which i already knew was there because the tech told me it was there when i had an ultrasound done at 6 weeks.
oh AND they intentionally put me on this dosage just ortho tri cycline because i had adverse reactions to a higher dosage. it made me moodier than a mood ring. no lie.
ok so i actually debated on adding this to my information, but i havent been on the pill since june. i quit taking it because it made me too moody… i wanted to see what kind of answer i’d get without offering that tidbit just yet. but i definitely will make an appointment to see the specialist. OO! i also have had a history of low progesterone- had to take it in pill for to trigger a few periods because i wasnt making enough to ovulate so my body would cycle right. my breasts were incredibly engorged, rock hard and extremely painful! thought you should know…

Okay, well I find this very embarrassing but I really want to know what’s going on. I’ve looked things up online and everything and I cannot find a diagnosis. Hemorrhoids, fissures, constipation, and serious issues with this have been ruled out. Can anyone figure this out? I’m putting symptoms below…

-Hurts during bowel movements, but literally as soon as I’ve stopped pooping, it stops hurting. Never any pain except when pooping.
-Every bowel movement I bleed, (a week or so now), but not a lot. Just a few streaks. Not drops, but it doesn’t drip out.
-The blood is a bright, rich red
-Once my bowel movement is over, I instantly stop bleeding
-No blood in stool
-Stool is firm
-No cramps
-No constipation (I can poop fine)
-No blood ever in my underwear

Basically I only suffer pain and bleeding while pooping, then once I’ve done my business it’s like nothing has ever happened. My anus doesn’t bother me any time other than when I’m having a bowel movement, and seriously, a second after I’m done, it’s like it never happened. So no anal itching, I don’t feel any bumps around the area, etc. etc.

Anyone know??

Oh, and I don’t want to go to a doctor yet. I find it very embarrassing to talk about. And please, no alarming answers that will freak me out. Please be serious and think about your answer before posting it.

I know it’s not a fissure. Fissures usually hurt more, and are worse than what I’m experiencing. I know also it isn’t hemorrhoids because hemorrhoids itch, cause bumps, and many other things I don’t have at all.

I am three months out from having my second child and have just had my first period and got back on BC pills. I have what I thought was a yeast infection and treated it with my usual apple cider vinegar/water routine. Usually does the trick in two days but it made it 100% worse. So then I got some monistat and am on that now. I have a doctors appt but not for TWO WEEKS!

Now I am not so sure this is a yeast infection. It mimics one with itching and discharge but there is no odor and the monistat doesn’t seem to burn like it would if it was yeast. Now I have bleeding discharge and my labia are bleeding. Best part: I have what look like hemorrhoids in my vagina.
Could all this be from hormones? Could it be cancer??

My husband is my best friend and we work together at home and travel together with our friends and families. Neither of us ever would nor has had time to cheat. I trust him 100% so it’s not an STD.

Hey guys. Im 16 and i think i have hemorrhoids. After every time i take a dump, no matter how little strain there is, my anus always swells out and hurts but eventually goes back to normal. This has only recently started to happen but quite a while ago. I also experience the itching associated with the hemorrhoids.. What can i do to get rid of or not let my butt swell up? Serious answers only.

I have a hemorrhoid but I haven’t been constipated and I gave birth to my last child almost a year ago. What could cause this? It itches very badly and kind of burns in a way. It’s been hurting for 2 days but today is when I first looked at it and discovered it was there so I’ve been taking over the counter medicine and its barely working.

Can anyone tell me why I got one and what I can do for it?

I was itching like crazy last night and I thought it was ingrown hair..but just recently I took a mirror and checked.

This is sort of embarrassing. I am 35 yrs old. I buy a big box of wipes at Sam’s club for and that lasts me about 3-4 months. If I don’t use wipes while going to the restroom do relieve myself I normally have to worry about my behind itching me all day, especially in the summer. I shower daily too by the way.

Back in March, a guy performed oral sex on me. He only stayed on the vaginal area and not my anus. It was about a day and a half later that I experienced burning, pain and a little itching around my anus and so I took a look and it was red, like a diaper rash. I had a cold and diarrhea too and I got over it in about 3 days.
My mom took me to OB/GYN and they said that I was find and that it was just folds on the skin. It could be from spicy food or the area is just irritated. The symptoms I had I explained to my mom and she said that nothing was wrong with me before we went to the OB/GYN.
Now it is July and she it is nothing wrong with me and it is getting annoying to have this on my anus…its only on the opening and has not spread anywhere else.

What should I do? Do not say go to the doctor, they said nothing was wrong(as you see, no one is going to take me…and sometimes a doctor visit is out of the quest.), I just need a few remedies, no advice on doctor visits (or no pts, lol)

I also did some research and I thought it was Herpes or Hemorrhoids but it looks similar to a rash (like a diaper rash, I don’t wear them btw) and my vaginal area is not at all infected…just sometimes my inner thighs and its a pain to defecate

This is a trite bit embarrassing, But, I do not have insurance and want to be sure that I REALLY need to go to the DR before jumping the gun I’ve spent the last 10 years getting out of debt and am finally on my way to getting a mortgage loan, so I don’t want any bills that are needless.

None the less. I finished my menstrual cycle 2 days ago, I am pretty sure I have a history HEMROIDS / HEMORRHOIDS as I have given birth to 4 children. I have in the past had small dots of blood on the toilet paper after a movement and have had itching.
The other day I had a great amount of burning at the site, but I was working and could not remove myself from work. My shift was 14 hours so I slept most of yesterday. Today I had a bout of diarrhea and the first time there was bloody mucous present, the second time the stool appears to be coating the stool. The blood seems to be a fairly large amount as the water is tinted pink after. The blood color is fresh Bright Red. Is this just advanced Hemorrhoids? Is there a diet that could calm this or is it absolutely dire that I see a DR?

Just about 2 weeks ago i was constipated really bad. and i couldn’t use the bathroom, but thankfully i took some medicine and i guess im not anymore. But ever since i still feel like i cant crap right, likes its hard to strain and to get anything to come out. I go like everyday, but when i do i have to push really hard and like balls come out. and not alot at all.then i still feel like i have to go and keep straining but nothing else comes out.

But lately i’ve been having itching in my anal, and its really uncomfortable. At first it was just an itch every 30 minutes, but now i feel like something is in there crawling around! And i cant use the bathroom right. But last night it was irritating me really bad that i woke up in the middle of the night (which is why i thought it was pinworms.) . I am a bit concerned, i am 35 year old male, almost 36. Anyway i have not seen any blood i think in the stool, but the stool when it comes out is narrow like. I also have itching and blood on the toilet paper. Normally i would think this is hemorrhoids, but the narrow like bowel movements makes me question it. No history of colon cancer i beleive in the family too. Thanks for your replies.
also i want to mention that could this be a case of diet that causes the stools to look different, i am in asia so i wonder if being away from the home country makes a difference. I had a test a few years ago and the doctor told me it was just hemorrhoids. The blood is bright red and miniscule that appears on the toilet paper.

im 23 male, 220lbs, 6′1” clean medical history. yesterday i had diarrhea, 1st it was accompanied by a little blood in the toilet and on the tissue paper, my 2nd bathroom run there was quite a bit of blood both in the toilet and on the tissue paper. there was also what looks like a piece of my GI tract, about 1/2" deep red, wrinkled tissue. i have no pain anywhere, no itching or sensitivity at the anus. i didnt eat anything unusual. its not hemorrhoids or an anal fissure… i dont have medical coverage so i dont have a doctor to consult. I havent eaten pretty much anything today, and i havent had a bowl movement since last night. my great grandfather died of what started as colon cancer then moved to liver cancer. should i be worried? what should i do/watch for. help =(
