About a month ago, I had a painful bowel movement (but I wasn’t constipated, it just felt like I was passing glass) and I noticed bright red blood on the toilet paper. I wasn’t too alarmed because this had happened once before about 2 years ago and cleared up on its own within a few weeks. However, this one seemed different because it hurt a lot more!! Sometimes I had trouble getting to sleep at night because of the pain in my butt! Eventually, I bent over in the mirror to see what was going on down there.

I saw a red bump about the size of a kidney bean, it hurt pretty bad and was pretty hard. I started taking a lot of fiber and drinking lots of water, thinking it was an external hemorrhoid and hoping it would go away on its own.

So about a month later, it’s still there. It hardly hurts at all during the day anymore, only when I have a bowel movement, and it always bleeds, really bright red. Some times it bleeds more than others, even dripping into the bowl. Its really strange and I’m starting to get worried that this might be more serious then I realize, or I might need professional help to cure it.

Does anyone have any suggestions or comments for me? I’m only 23 and I would really like to avoid going to the doctor over this if at all possible. The pain is not severe and I can live with it for quite a while as long as it will eventually go away on its own! Thanks for any help.

I know it’s TMI, but I’ve had a hemorrhoid since I gave birth on August 10th. I’m tired of it. It doesn’t cause me pain or anything unless I take a big poop. lol
It’s been really good for the past 2 ish weeks… so I thought it was gone. But nooooope! It started bleeding this morning when I went poo.
I haven’t used any creams for it yet or anything. I don’t really want to for several different reasons, but if that’s the only way to cure it and make it go away, I’ll go buy some.
What will get rid of this hemorrhoid?!

well to start with i am only 16. i spend a lot of time reading on the toilet and i dont think i have the most fibre filled diet. i felt the lump in my anus when i wiped a few days ago, now its begining to itch and hurt if i tense. I cant feel it when im just sat around but if i bend over (and yes i have looked in a mirror) i can see it. its not big just like the size of a pea. i basically i want to know how long they usually last? how long will it hurt for? any practical cures? and by going away what do you mean, will it fall off or just shrink? and before anyone suggests going to the doctors, i know that would be best but it just isnt going to happen unless my hemorrhoid suddenly begins to talk i havent told anyone and i would prefer not to. and i havent "had a crap" since it began to itch and stuff. will going to the toilet hurt?

Hi guys, So I went to the bathroom today, and I had a little pain for a few seconds relieving myself. There’s no blood in stool. But there’s a blood stain when I wiped. I’m assuming I have an internal hemorrhoid. Is there anything I can do/buy to relieve/cure this?

I already have colace (stool softener) to start with.

Now I just need some kind of ointment or cream to eliminate the hemorroids.

I’m seeing the doc this weekend, but just want to see if I can do this on my own.

After finishing crying about an hour ago, I rinsed my eyes with cold water for a couple of minutes and applied a wet, cold towel to my face to prevent the puffiness from going up.

Although I am done crying now, my eyes are still pretty puffy and red.

Provided I don’t cry any more tonight, and instead, go to sleep right now, what are the chances of me waking up with puffy eyes?

And how can I cure them? I heard that hemorrhoid cream works wonders, but then I heard advice against it, saying it’s dangerous to use as a cosmetic product.

TL;DR if I don’t cry anymore tonight, will I have puffy eyes tomorrow? And if so, how do I get rid of ‘em?

One of the most embarassing questions i’ve ever asked, but i’ve got an itchy bum hole. Like, its just itchy! Its not in pain, and its not bleeding. I dont see any worms in my poop so I dont think i have worms. And i dont think its hemorrhoids either because my bum hole isnt bleeding. And im very clean (i always wash my hands and change my bed sheets at least once a week). Im concerned. What do you think is wrong with me? And what can i do to cure my itchy bum hole? XD.

I have been to the doc for hemorrhoids. He said I was having a problem with constipation and to take lots of fiber and water. That lasted for a while, but I am back to the constipation thing. I take a laxative about once a month because I can go for a week without having a bowel movement. I know this is really bad for my intestines and it doesn’t feel too good for me either. Is there any way that I could have a small anus? I have a really hard time passing feces. Sometimes it is as large as a golf ball and really compacted. I can’t seem to get it to be soft and easy to pass? Any suggestions and is it really possible to have a too small anus?
PS- I underwent surgery to have a D&C last year (vaginal clean-out basically for a messed up period). Could this have anything to do with it?

I paid the butt doc over 0 just for him to tell me to eat more fiber and give me a drawing of my intestines so I hate to spend more money on something that I might be able to cure at home.

The plant of olive goes up to the height of 3 metres, leaves are bright green and very attractive and the fruits are of bright bluish or violet colour, possesses a metallic taste. It is known from old ages. During the excavation of ancient Egyptian graves, vessels full of olive oil were found with other articles. According to the scholars of Hadith, on subsidence of Toofan-E-Nooh, when water level came down, the first thing on the earth that was seen, was the olive plant.

The plant is extensively found in Asia minor, Palestine, Roman territory, Greece, Portugal, Spain, Turkey, Italy, North Africa, Algeria, Tunisia, California in America, Mexico, Peru and South zone of Australia. Usually it is imported from Spain, Italy, France, Turkey and Greece. Though olive fruits are very nutritious it is not usually eaten due to its metallic taste. Rather pickles of its fruits are largely consumed in Europe. The fruits preserved in vinegar is imported from Greece and liked very much in Europe and in Arabian countries.

Olive oil is a good preservative for other eatables too. Sardine and other fishes are tinned and preserved in olive oil. The smoke-less burning of olive oil is a peculiar feature, which produces a bright light. Holy Qur’an stresses the importance of Zaitoon on several occasions: (141-M-AlInaam-6), (99-K-AlInaam-6), (11-K-AlNahl-16), (AlNoor-35), (Moominoon).

Hazrat Sayyed Al-Ansari narrates that the Prophet (saws) said “Eat the olive oil and massage it over your bodies since it is a holy (mubarak) tree.” (Tirmizi, Ibn Maja)

Hazrat Alqama Bin Amir narrates that Prophet (saws) said, “ There is olive oil for you, eat it, massage over your body, since it is effective in Haemorrhoids (Piles).” (Ibn Al-Jozi, Zanbi)

Hazrat Aqba Bin Amir narrates that the Prophet (saws) stated, “You have the olive oil from this Holy (mubarak) tree, treat yourself with this, since it cures the Anal fissure (Basoor).” Khalid Bin Saad narrates “I came to Madinah with Ghalib Bin Al Jabr. Ghalib became ill during the journey. Ibn Abi Ateeq came to see him and told a narration from Hazrat Aisha that the Prophet (saws) told about the cure in Kalonji. We crushed a few seeds of Kalonji and mixed it with olive oil and dropped in both nostrils, after which Ghalib became healthy.” (Ibn Maja, Bukhari)

Hazrath Abu Hurairah (t) narrates that the Prophet (saws) stated, “ Eat the olive oil and apply it (locally), since there is cure for seventy diseases in it, one of them is Leprosy.” (Abu Naim)

Hazrat Zaid Bin Arqam narrates “ We have been directed by the Prophet (saws) that we should treat the Pleurisy with Qust-e-Behri (Qust Sheerin) and olive oil.” (Tirmizi, sanadeAhmed, Ibn Maja)

Olive oil has a place in Govt Pharmacopeia of USA and Britain (British Pharmacopeia). Both of these countries have given prime importance to olive oil for the treatment of various ailments and have fixed standard parameters to evaluate its purity.

It contains Palmatic Acid, Oleic Acid, Linoleic Acid, Steanic Acid, Myristic Acid and Glycerides. It is not dissolved in water but in Alcohol, Ether, Chloroform and Liquid Paraffin.

The adulterant very often used in the olive are of the seeds of Tea Plant, Arachis oil in the market samples of olive oil. Sometimes Machine Gun oil and refined Mobile oil are also found.

Olive oil is extracted from the ripened fruits. The unripe and over ripe fruits contain less amount of the oil. The fruits are processed three times. Successively, the first round oil is the best in quality, golden in colour, with a light fragrance and known as virgin oil. Some varieties of olive oil remained unchanged in its effectiveness for years together. It contains therapeutic potential even if it is a thousand years old. Despite the prime importance and holiness given by Qur’an and Prophet Muhammad (saws) no work has been done to find out its efficacy for the ailments other than the Haemorrhoids, Anal fissure, Skin diseases, pleurisy and leprosy, which are already described by the Prophet (saws) , whereas the Prophet (saws) himself says us that it contains cure for seventy diseases.

I have a problem, when I don’t eat fiber and my stools are hard I bleed, when I eat a lot of apples and fiber my stools are softer and there is No blood at all. Should I just make fiber a daily thing or should I consult a doctor? I am really self conscious and I wouldn’t want to have a doctor do an anal examination. I might have hemorrhoids or an anal fissure, I think it is most likely an anal fissure. So can I get an opinion please, is it really necessary to see a doctor if the only way to stop bleeding is by eating fiber or will fiber cure me with time?

i bought a baby chicken at a flee market about two weeks ago, i have been keeping him in a box with a bowl of water and bread crumbs and corn and rice cereal, during the first few weeks he ate fine and pooed a normal amount, but then he started to finish a bowel of food every few hours and i would fill the dish two or three times a day. i also let him out in the chicken coop so he can dig for his own bugs and what not. however now he is pooing like crazy and it looks like his insides are coming out of his rear….hemorrhoids? is it possible for a baby chicken to get this is there any cure? or should i let him go?

Iam 33 weeks pregnant and I developed a haemorrhoid of raisin size.i was totally on control with my diest and drinking lots of water but yes I used to sit for long in front of the computer as my job demands.
Not sure how to handle this and how to cure this before delivery.

i’m 12 (13 tomorrow) and when I was in the shower last night i washed my butt and i felt a bump. the night before my butt was really itchy, and i mean my anus. not inside or on the skin. last night it got itchy again after i got out of the shower so i told my mom and she gave me some cortisone cream. i put it on and it helped a little bit. i also have been VERY constipated lately, so constipated that whenever i bend over i can feel gas and poop. i can’t fart at all. the last time i pooped it hurt SO BAD when i was done, i couldn’t walk straight or anything. my mom says it’s hemorrhoids. i have had rectal bleeding and constipation for a long time but it hasn’t been serious and it goes away usually after i take a laxative. but recently it’s been soooo bad. i haven’t tried taking a laxative though. and i really don’t want to go to a doctor because i don’t want anybody poking around down there. my mom told me that she has hemorrhoids and that it is most likely genetic. but i’m reeeeally worried. i feel very slow and when i bend over i can practically feel built-up gas and feces poking me. also, i occasionally get sharp quick pains on my anus. i am really scared that it’s pinworms but i don’t think so because all of my signs point to external hemorrhoids.
what do you think?
