I get gas when I think of politicians
and the heartburn they cause
from half chewed ideas
resulting in brain farts that make stink-stink
Washington
O’ Washington…
will Activia cure your constipation?
I see you’ve sat on your hands so long
you have arthritis and hemorrhoids
So why is it so hard for us to get decent health care?

to answer your last question….government "lack" of control on insurance companies and Medicaid abuse….find the 60 minutes replay from tonight …OMG…in Miami alone…the fraud …one "storefront" pharmacy billed more in false claims in one month than the largest Walgreen’s in the stat of Florida…over 800 grand in 1 month alone !!!!…THAT WAS ONLY ONE OF HUNDREDS OF FAKE STORES IN ONE CITY IN ONE STATE IN AMERICA….
term limits for the senate would be a good start

I live on welfare and SSI, receive medical assistance, but still barely get by. Half the doctors in my area won’t accept welfare insurance anymore.
Just give them some Exlax….but don’t tell them what box of chocolates you put them in.
Medicare fraud is rampant. The government needs to get it’s own system in order before trying something else. Even when fraud is reported, it is ignored. I turned in one group who billed medicare over $20,000.00 after state farm had already paid the bills. In nearly 3 years they have done nothing but continue to pay fraudulent claims. Makes me wonder who is getting a cut of the profits.
Look not at the doctore
look to the lawyer

the media creates our perception of everything through clever tactics and a break on their taxes.
The people who took Activia got a refund because they made false claims.
I wonder how we get our money back from Washington?

If the US would take a page from the Canadians and do it the way Tommy Douglas laid out years ago, there might be a chance.
however in BC the government is trying to dismantle all that and create private for profit where the rich get richer the poor get poorer, the middle class disappear, and only the wealthy can afford healthcare.
Americans are kept in the dark about the realities of healthcare in Canada, they are far better off than we are in the states.
Well… I get decent healthcare, it’s just damned EXPENSIVE for me to get it.
As for the poem, it certainly expresses your point of view in a different manner. Thanks for another one from your "pen."
