Are Piles Infectious? Can you pass on Hemorrhoids to someone?
I just got Hemorrhoids and I am wondering are there any ways to stop it spreading to other people? I have not been to the doctor yet but I know I have them. Is there any Home cures I can take to stop them spreading?

No. They are varicose veins in your bum. They are not contagious. The doctor might be able to get rid of them and will give you advice about fibre in your diet and avoiding constipation.
This is NOT something contagious, so you cannot pass it on to anyone. If you can sit in a very warm bath it might help. Make sure you are eating enough food with fiber and drinking enough water. This should make it easier to have a BM. This is important ,because If you get constipated, it can aggravate hemorrhoids. Try not to push too hard when you have a BM, otherwise you can make hemorrhoids worse. Please ask your doctor about a stool softener if you tend to get hemorrhoids. There are also some over the counter remedies you can ask your local pharmacist about. Things like preparation H and pads to wipe yourself with to help with the discomfort and gentle cleaning.
Piles (Hemorrhoids) very rarely get infected, and they are one of the diseases that can spread from one person to another. Try taking dietary fiber i.e. a diet containing some food particles such as green vegetables and Ispaghol that take up water in the intestines and prevent constipation, which is one of the causes of hemorrhoids.
Talk to your pharmacist, there are many over-the-counter hemorrhoid creams you can buy. If the case isn’t too serious that should do the trick, I’ve only had them once and it worked for me. If you can’t head out right away, using a regular moisturizer helps.
Besides that, drink lots of water. Hemorrhoids can be caused by or worsened by constipation so eat foods that are high in fibre.
To ease the discomfort, I recommend a warm bath. Even directing the shower head on the hemorrhoids, as weird as it sounds, will make you feel better and the heat relaxes the inflammation.
Hemorrhoids are caused by swollen veins – they are not infectious so don’t worry about passing them on to anyone else, they’re not contagious.
