Thanks for your advice Bugbee, I have seen a hematologist, and she took blood (5 vials of it in fact). She referred me to a doctor who performed a EGD, and Colonoscopy, and found Ulcers in Color Cecum, and Internal Hemorrhoids. He put me on high fiber diet, prep H, and sitz bath, which is nothing new. Before I saw the blood doctor, I started myself on iron supplement therpy, and the doctor said to continue it. I also started Vit "C" to help my body to absorde the iron. My primary care physician will be monotoring my blood count. The blood doctor did not seem to have many answers to my condition. I have been Anemic most of my life, but not to the degree now. Mostly I was told by doctors, my stomch produces too much acid, thus impeding the absorption of iron, and other Vitimins. The blood doctor said that I was at a point of needing a blood transfusion, but I do not take other peoples blood, so puts me in a questional situation. I also have or had 3d stage renal desease.

What exactly IS a hemorrhoid? Over the years I’ve noticed some women don’t want butt sex cause they have hemorrhoids… is this the real reason women don’t like butt sex? Is it something up in the butt? What??

Bit of a strange question…

My aunt is a nurse and I’ve heard about and seen photos of hemorrhoids before. I have what I think is a prolapsed internal hemorrhoid and obviously need to treat it (I know you can get creams and stuff for them as they are common). I’m not 100% sure though. I hate my doctor (doctors in general) and don’t want them poking around with my body. I’ve never seen anything like this though. There is only one, it isn’t bleeding and it has prolapsed from the inside. I don’t have any of the other symptoms associated with hemorrhoids though which is what confuses me. Has anyone else heard of this before? Just one, very large hemorrhoid instead of a bunch-of-grapes thing? I’m also only 21, am not overweight, have a pretty good diet, drink plenty of water, go to the bathroom normally, have a healthy lifestyle, etc – there is no reason I should have hemorrhoids! I’m not sure what else I can do to prevent them as there is no logical cause! Any ideas?

Would anyone who has had hemorrhoids that went away due to changes like diets or specific treatments like creams or oils like to share what they did with me, I would very much appreciate it.

Now that im 30 weeks Ive been thinking about it a lot more and Im really worried about how everythings going to be after I have the baby.. I cant have sex with my fiance without being sore so I cant imagine the pain after having a baby, and I read all these horrible things that happen like hemorrhoids, constipation, urination problems, having to wear a pad non-stop for up to 6 weeks… These sound like something that would stress me out anyways so having to take care of a newborn while having all these things seems unbearable.. Also me and my fiance have sex everyday so I dont know how hes going to be after I have the baby and we cant have sex, also when we do have sex ( I heard after a month? ) Im really worried ill feel different to him and with my boobs leaking and my stomach all stretched out… How am I suppose to have confidence?

Anyways can anyone tell me their experience after having a baby so maybe I can calm down a bit?

I’m 19 yrs old, and I’ve been having every symptom to colon cancer except for the migraines. I currently have hemorrhoids but before I had that, I was constipated and the pressure in my lower back was intense (still is). I always thought that you only got constipated from not drinking enough water, and all I drink is water so I don’t see why I’d be constipated. I also have a lot of pelvic pains and I’ll sometimes have bloody discharge from my vagina. I went to the hospital once and they let me go saying I didn’t have anything at all, but I insist that I do.

how can prolapsed external hemorrhoid be cured? can it be inserted back? if it aches when you press it, what could it be? thanks!answers are deeply appreciated

ok, as embarrassing as this is, i have a question.

ive got kinda purplish lumps near the crapper, rigth around it. they itch like nothing else has ever itched and theyve bled with bowel movements before. so i know its probably hemorrhoids and not colon cancer

my concern is, ive seen pictures where theyre really horrible and out…like stage 4 or something? how does that happen? is it common? how can i avoid that? its horrible haha.

also if t he cremes and wipes etc arent helping to soothe the itch will they still work you think?

i hear 50-75% of the US population has them but im still kinda worried about that.

I’m almost 37 weeks along and for the past week I’ve been having braxton hicks (lots of them, every day, all day, every 5 mins or less) and a sizzling pain down there (labia lips) … Yesterday my hemorrhoids decided they wanted out and now my back is killing me —really, I can’t even go to the toilet without asking for my partner’s help.
I’m terrified the next month will be hell. Anyone has any advice or words of wisdom??? I’m quite tired –can’t sleep cause of pain and I have an 11month old to care for (which I’ve been unable to do today, luckily her dad was there to help and my mother’s around too… but they might not be able to be there full time for the next 4 weeks

My husband was diagnosed with Shingles a few weeks ago. The rash is extremely painful and seems to appear in one place, go away then show up somewhere else. Tonight he went to the hospital because the pain was so bad he could not walk, sit or lay down. Despite telling the Dr. that he was diagnosed with Shingles only a few weeks ago and had already been seen twice because of the pain, the Dr. (not the same one who diagnosed him) told him he is too young to have Shingles Disease and told him he has hemorrhoids, despite having no symptoms of hemorrhoids (except excruciating pain). There are no lumps, bumps or anything remotely like hemorrhoids. There is just a rash that looks just like Shingles. He says it feels just like it, too but the Dr. would not listen to him. He (the Dr.) also asked quite a few questions that my husband felt were insulting, such as "Do you ever share needles?" and "Do you or your wife ever engage in prostitution?" When my husband asked why he was asking these things, the Dr. said that my husband was too young to have Shingles and that he needed an AIDS test. We don’t do drugs; neither of us even drink. Obviously, neither of us are prostitutes. My husband is extremely offended by the whole experience, and I have to say, I am, too. I am more disturbed by the fact that this Dr. would not listen to him. My husband takes Trileptal for Borderline Personality Disorder and felt that once the Dr. found that out, he stopped listening to him.

Can Shungles appear around the anus and do you feel we should get a 2nd opinion or will it be just a waste of time?
I understand and that is what I told my husband. At the same time, if a patient was diagnosed with Shingles Disease at that hospital not two weeks ago and already been back twice because of the pain…

I have gotten my first one, it is pretty sore and annoying. I have researched quite a bit about them but would appreciate some relief strategies from others who have them. I am not constipated, i eat plenty of fiber but i have frequent bowel movements everyday, sometimes 3 a day.From what I have researched, this is the issue causing them. Any insight would be much appreciated.

Please do not say go to the doctor, I have no insurance and cannot afford a doctor.The blood is only there when I use the bathroom,however it is enough to drip into the toilet. I already have a pretty stable diet I do not even eat red meat. Can anyone tell me how to cure these. Once again I cannot afford a doctor.

I had my daughter 2 months ago, and now i have hemorriods. bleeding ones. it really freaks me out i mean there isnt a ton of blood maybe about the same amount as a small cut. i want to change my diet but i have to be carefull with high fiber food exspcially the veggies because they cause her a lot of gas. can i take a fiber supplement? what kind of fruits are the highest fiber content? its pretty embarassing to tell everyone on yahoo you have hemorrhoids! but what is a good treatment. i read hyrdrocortisone to reduce swelling but if its internal.. well how does that work. ew. lol thank you guys.

i m 18 and have two rods in my back from being born with scoliosis, i have arthritis in my knees, gull stones, acid reflux, nerve damage in my hands and feet, hemorrhoids, fissures, and my wisdom teeth are starting to come in. my dad died a year ago, my grandfather, uncle, and very close friend just past these past couple months and my grandma is about to go too. i got ripped off at my last job and left it, i wanted to take a year off to calm myself down and work but i cant find work, and im limited to job positions.

Most recent my mom found out she has a cist in her brain and then came home and kicked me out without warning or any kind of time frame, she said she would call the cops if i wasnt out, she took my car and gave me her truck that barley runs (thank god i have that though) and my cell phone is being taking care of threw my friends phone line

My poor girlfriend goes for long walks. During these walks she feels discomfort and itching. When she gets home there is blood in her underwear from what must be hemorrhoids. Is there a pad she can wear that will prevent the blood from soiling her? This is not a joke. Only adult replies are invited.

After a 3 week bout with constipation I’ve ended up with a hemorrhoid, possibly more than one. I’m not sure if it’s external or internal, but it’s causing itching, burning, pain with bowel movements, and a sensation that I constantly have to go to the bathroom (have a bowel movement), probably because it’s swollen. I’m taking citrucel to keep my stools soft (but it’s causing me to have uncomfortable pressure from trapped gas!), and I’m used internal and external preparation h hemorrhoid cream. I take warm baking soda baths when I have time, and I’m trying to up my fluid intake a bit.

However, every single time I have a bowel movement all the progress I made with the prep h cream is gone! I’ll feel great for a few days, then, when I have a bowel movement, it feels like the hemorrhoid gets swollen again because the urge to defecate comes back, as well as the burning, etc. It pushes me back to square 1.

Should I go to the doctor? Can they even do anything for me?
I’m also a student, so I sit on a hard desk for 90% of the day, which I’m sure is also a problem.
I don’t drink coffee or soda.

Ok. I am 17. This may sound gross but that’s life. I havent go to the bathroom to do IT for like 4 days because i didnt have the natural urge. So this morning i tried and it just wont come out. I tried to strain a little but it just really wont come out because i can feel it was so hard.

So i give up and i ate papaya and lots of water and everything. On my third try on the bathroom it still wont come out but i managed to let out aa little. Just a little. Oh my God you cant imagine how hard it was and i was almost crying. WHen i got out i felt something on my anus. Could this be hemorrhage?

I’m planning to go to the doctor tomorrow. I didnt have the symptoms of hemorrhoid before such as bleeding, itching etc.

i have been battling hemorrhoids for months. I had a colonoscopy and nothing serious was found. I have been on stool softeners and fiber. Went to 3 doctors and all said it wasn’t serious. But i was continuing to have pain after bm. One doctor put me on dicyclomine and the problem stopped. Wondering whats going on? i’m now out of medication is the problem going to stay away?
