I’ve never had a hemorrhoid, but the other day i guess i strained too hard and got one. It’s not so painful that i feel like i need to go to the doctor. It’s mainly just annoying. Will it take care of itself?

I am aconsidering treatment options for hemorrhoids, and have heard of band or ligature treatment.If anyone has had this done, how painful is it. How about IRC treatment, infared coagulation therapy, does that hurt a lot?

When I was around 11, I had a problem with constipation and I developed an external hemorrhoid. I never had it looked at by a doctor, because it’s never bothered me. Well, now I’m 17 and its still there. Recently it’s gotten a bit larger, I don’t know why. It’s still not bothering me, but I was just wondering if there is any chance it will go away on its own, or will I have to have it removed by a doctor? I’ve read that they can go away on their own with home treatments within a few weeks, but I’ve had it for 6 years and never treated it, so I don’t know…

I have hemorrhoids and it seems like when they flare up, my whole area hurts, urinary to sexual to anal area. Is this common for women, or is it perhaps something else?

I have just recently discovered a hemorrhoid and I am an 18 year old female that bathes regularly, do not engage in anal sex and never have constipation problems that would cause me to strain. The only thing recently that I can think of that might have caused it was from being sick but that sickness only lasted less than 24 hours. What is the most likely cause for this hemorrhoid then? And how long will it probably be there?

What can hemmorrhoids do? What should you do with them if you have one as a child?

Okay, I know this is gross but I’m curious to know if I have hemorrhoids or pinworms?

Usually after every bowel movement my anus itches and if I touch around my anus it itches more. (lately, I have been having a lot of bowel movements so I’m not constipated or anything) It doesn’t just itch at night, it does it throughout the day. I’m currently 33 weeks pregnant so I was thinking it was hemorrhoids but as I read on people are saying "hemorrhoids don’t itch, blah blah" Is that true? and how can I help relieve it?

when i wipe "the stuff", then when it is all gone, i wipe like one more time there is like blood. its like blood from the anus. i looked hemorrhoids up and i don’t have any symptoms of it. i looked on webmd. there is only a little blood on the tissue. NO WHERE ELSE. not on my underwear. it doesn’t itch. when i workout hard, sometimes it smells bad down there.

Will my partner really care for me and look over any issues that may hang around.

better? The bleeding seems to have gotten less since I have been putting the cream on them. Does that mean they are getting better? I never had any pain with them so I can only go by the bleeding amt. They are internal hemorrhoids.

I asked this question last night, and someone told me I need to change how I eat and exercise more. I don’t think that’s the answer. I get plenty of fiber and I am at a normal weight. I have not had a problem with constipation in a long time, I only get constipated once in a great while, usually when I’m so busy and stressed that I don’t drink enough water.

I have had hemorrhoids for years. My symptoms are/were bleeding when I defecated and liquid discharge (which I figure is water) after I’m done when I sit down and such. I used to use paper towels in my underwear to absorb the discharge and sometimes a lot of bleeding afterwards (sometimes even the next day). I do know it’s hemorrhoids.

I started seeing a doctor about them a year or so ago. He started rubber band ligation and it helped somewhat. It didn’t, however get rid of the discharge and I still had bleeding, sometimes even for an hour straight. I stopped going for various reasons (the doctors attitude mostly). I, like most males, figured if I tried more water and so on and so forth, the problem would just go away.

Now, I just sat on the toilet for almost two hours, bleeding constantly. I’m tired of it. I want the bleeding/discharge to stop. What *effective* and quick methods are there for me? I’ve heard about Doppler ways. Is this for me?

i think i may have minor hemorrhoids. something sticks out and i am constipated and clog the toilet alot. spicy food is mostly what i eat because it tastes good to me. i experienced some discomfort while walking and i checked and something is sticking out. it hurts to pass. i read about rue care oil, but i can’t order online.
